Dear friends of the Heidi Horten Collection, I am delighted to have assumed the position of Artistic and Scientific Director of the Heidi Horten Collection as of November 1. This museum has long been close to my heart for its extraordinary collection, its distinctive architecture, and its unique atmosphere. My sincere thanks go to my predecessor, Dr. Agnes Husslein-Arco, for her remarkable achievement in establishing this institution. In a very short time, she and the dedicated team have turned the museum into a significant center for art. Building on this foundation, I intend to further deepen the dialogue with artists, institutions, and audiences—both locally and internationally—to strengthen the museum’s global presence and resonance.
