After the success of our exhibition “OPEN” (a must for all art lovers), we are building a new exhibition for you that will revolve around the museum’s founder, Heidi Goëss-Horten, opening on October 21st. The exhibition, titled “LOOK”, is an homage to Heidi Goëss-Horten, her style, and her passions. It combines the focal point of the collection—the depiction and appearance of women—with the theme of fashion. In this way, the first themed exhibition of our new museum is also a very personal presentation in which the paintings, sculptures, and objects are all related to one another. In “LOOK”, works from Francis Bacon, Jean Dubuffet, Lyonel Feininger, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Niki de Saint Phalle, and Andy Warhol are in dialogue with contemporary artists and themes. Share

Share

Construction - Update #3
The photo shows a construction site with an impressive steel structure. The massive girders span the space and give a first impression of the future architecture. Building materials, tools and equipment are neatly arranged all around. A bright existing building can be seen in the background, forming an exciting contrast to the modern steel structure. The sky is blue, the light bright - a snapshot of the construction process in progress. The photo was taken by photographer Stefan Oláh.
This picture shows the interior of a roof truss during construction work. The focus is on a large, oval window surrounded by a wooden frame. The walls and roof slopes are made of light-colored wood, which gives the room a warm atmosphere - despite the construction site situation. There are ladders and tools on the floor and a spirit level leaning against a beam. The blue protective fleece in front of the window lets soft light into the room.
